The Villager Edition 5

Welcome 2024 and to The Villager, the Cedar Pointe Village Six newsletter. As we transition to the 21st Century, our communications to our residents is moving to electronic delivery via email. To make sure you receive all communications, please make sure our office has your current email address. You can do this by sending an email to Linda Seeley, our property manager at cedarpointv6@gmail.com asking her to update your email address.

Board Meetings: are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 am at our clubhouse (unless otherwise posted).
Women’s Club Events: The Women’s Club annual dues are $6 and are due. A few events
already scheduled for 2024.

Tues Jan 9 at 1pm Women’s Club meeting;
Tues Jan 16, luncheon at TBD;
Sat Jan 20, Welcome Back (Snowbirds) Party – Stay tuned for details.

Other Village Six Events: Every Monday evening between 6 and 9 pm there is a craft night at the clubhouse. Bring your project and work on it in the company of others.

One more event happening soon is the Stuart Beach Fire Pit night. February 24, 2024, at fire pit #1, access walk #19 (very north end of parking lot, see map attached), between 5 pm and 11 pm. Please bring a bag of wood (available at Publix or Fresh Market) and a snack to share. You should also bring a chair. This is a popular event, and we look forward to it every year. It will be a full moon night as well!

Cedar Pointe Village Six Website: Betty Warrick, our newest board member has graciously volunteered to take on our website redesign. Betty has been working on refreshing the look, updating the documents, and formatting the pages to a more user friendly look. Click here to access the website. If you click on Owner’s Page at the top, you will be asked for a password. The password is pointe2020.

Cedar Pointe Village Six 2024 Annual Meeting: Our Annual Meeting is February 8, 2024. The second mailing is scheduled for the first week of January 2024. Both mailings are being mailed to the address on the owner information sheet we have on file. Please complete the 2024 Owner Information Sheet contained in the first mailing and return to the office.

Complaints: If you have a complaint and you would like the board to address it, you must put it in writing and either email it to our property manager or complete a work order form (located in the clubhouse office).

Cedar Point Village Six – Emergency Number: There should be an emergency number on your building’s bulletin board next to the mailboxes. This emergency number 772-288-2330 is strictly for afterhours building emergencies.

If Linda does not pick up, please leave a message and she will return your call.

This number is NOT to be used for an emergency in your unit. For an emergency in your unit, you must contact the appropriate professional (plumber/electrician or 911 for fire or police). If you are not sure if the emergency is affecting the entire building, please contact the appropriate professional and if they deem the issue to be part of the common area, they will contact the association and the bill will be sent to the association. NOTE: this is not a 24/7 monitored phone.
