Welcome to The Villager.

If you wish to receive this newsletter via email, please make sure the office has your latest contact information including your email address. If you have not updated your contact information, please send an email to Linda Seeley, our property manager at cedarpointv6@gmail.com

Board Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 am at our clubhouse (unless otherwise posted). It is always best to get your information by attending the meetings rather than listening to community gossip. Please check your buildings bulletin board frequently for all posted meetings.

Women’s Club Events Village 6 Women’s Club has been on summer break. Look for a list of exciting events coming soon.

Cedar Pointe Village Six website will soon be getting a much-needed makeover, thanks to Betty VandenBosch-Warrick. Betty has volunteered to update the look and documents available on our website. Click here to access the website. If you click on Owner’s Page at the top, you will be asked for a password. The password is pointe2020.

Community News: The pool and clubhouse are common areas and should be left neat and tidy. Residents should be picking up after themselves and their guests. Not cleaning up and picking up after a party, event, cookout, pool time, etc. could get your privileges suspended.

Suspicious Activity: Recently in the wee hours of the morning suspicious cars have been noted cruising through our neighborhood. Some speeding, dumping waste in our dumpsters, running stop signs, making u-turns in the middle of the road, or slowly driving through, up and down every parking lot. I have reached out to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Stuart Police for additional presence in our community especially during the overnight hours. I have inquired about a neighborhood watch. Look for more to come on this.

Blue Stream Fiber: Blue Stream Fiber is our new cable and WiFi company. Our current contract with Xfinity/Comcast ends November 2024. Blue Stream will be ready to go live on or before November 1, 2024.

Blue Stream is here, beginning this month. They will need access to every unit to run initial equipment and are starting with building 101 and doing 1 to 2 buildings a day. Either Ron (maintenance) or a board member will be with them.

I have attached a Blue Stream flyer to this newsletter so you can get to know them a little better.

The board of directors of Village Six have attended multiple meetings with Blue Stream. Village 7 went live earlier this year, Village 8 and Village 6 are going live in November 2024. As of this writing Villages 1-5 have not yet signed a contract with them.

2023 Special Assessment: Our community for the most part has been responsive and making your payments for the 2023 special assessment. If you have not made your payment in the amount of $780 to Cedar Point Village Six, please do so by December 1, 2023, to avoid penalties.
