Board Meetings: Our board meetings are held on the fourth (4th) Thursday (except holidays) of each month. All board meetings are posted 48 hours prior to the meeting on the main bulletin board in the clubhouse and a courtesy posting on each building bulletin board near the mailboxes.
Main Electrical Panel Installations: Bradford Electric has completed the main electrical panel replacement in buildings 115, 108, 107 and 106. This process is going slower than expected due to scheduling conflicts with FPL. Our contractor, FPL and I are in constant email contact. NO one will be displaced during the week of Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. Keep your eyes open for further communication. I will post notices as soon as I have confirmation.
Before you leave your unit:
- shut off your air conditioner at the thermostat and the breaker;
- empty your refrigerator and freezer. NOTE: Your building will not have electricity for 4-5 days.

Blue Stream Many residents have been enjoying our new cable provider. Our clubhouse has a new WiFi network name: Village6Clubhouse and the new password is: Bluestream123. Snowbirds should call Blue Stream Customer Service at 772-217-5233 a week or two before you come south for the winter to register and get your installation date. You must register to obtain an installation date for your unit.
Service and Emotional Support Animals: At the November 14, 2024, board meeting, a discussion was held by the board, and they agreed that we need all Village 6 ESA and Service animals registered. Look for a notice to be posted to give those with unregistered animals a grace period to complete a no-fee application and get their animals registered with the office. Anyone found with an unregistered animal after the deadline may be subject to fines and/or the removal of the animal. Grandfathered animals will not require ESA documentation from a medical provider, but must be declared as Emotional Support Animals by the owner. All other rules about animals will apply.
Parking: Please park in your assigned parking space. Every unit is provided with ONE assigned parking space and must not park for more than 30 minutes for loading or unloading in a Guest Space.
2025 Budget: The board approved the new 2025 budget at the November board meeting. The monthly maintenance fees beginning January 2025 as follows:

1 Bed Unit $460.00
Copies of the 2025 budget and maintenance fees are available in the office.
Waste Dumpsters: It is very important to remember that the dumpsters are for garbage waste only. Your kitchen sink, old furniture, cabinets, appliances, etc., DO NOT GO IN or NEAR OUR DUMPSTERS. Donate your items to one of many thrifts or second hand stores in our area or take them to the dump. IF the lid on the dumpster doesn’t close all the way (lay flat), please take your garbage to another dumpster in our Village Six. We are charged extra when the dumpsters are overfilled or when people leave their household furniture and/or appliances near them.
Women’s Club: The Women’s Club has been busy. So far this season they sponsored a successful Halloween Party, collected food for through the annual food drive for House of Hope Food Bank and hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at the clubhouse. The Women’s Club has reserved a fire pit at Stuart Beach for Saturday night, December 15th from 5-11 pm. The cost is $5 per person to defray the cost of the permit. Please bring a bundle of firewood, chair(s),
and a snack to share. Fire Ring #1, location at the north end of Stuart Beach. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
Recipe Share: Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients:
1 rotisserie chicken (all meat pulled from the bones and chopped
2 TBSP olive oil, butter or vegetable oil
1 medium onion diced
1-2 cloves of garlic diced
1 TBSP flour
2-3 cups chicken broth or stock
1 can cream of chicken soup
1-2 bags of mixed frozen vegetables
1 can biscuits
1 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 deep dish pie plate
Preheat oven to 350
In a largeish pan, heat oil, add onion – sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat. Add garlic, heat one more minute. Onion should be translucent. Stir in flour and cook until flour is cooked, about 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups of chicken broth/stock and can of cream of chicken soup. Mix thoroughly combining and thickening the sauce. Add frozen vegetables, cook until tender. Add chopped chicken, mix together. Add salt and pepper and thyme to taste. Pour mixture into deep dish pie plate. Pop the can of biscuits and place on top of the mixture. Bake according to the biscuit packaging 13-17 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
